Brookfield Zoo
Brookfield Zoo is located in Brookfield just west of Chicago. The Zoo is located on 216 acres of landscaped grounds and features over 2,000 animals. Brookfield Zoo featured the first Giant Panda exhibit in the United States. You get a chance to wander through exhibits such as Australia House, Baboon Island, Wolf Woods, Reptile House, Pachyderm House and many more. Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo has worked hard a recreating natural environs and habitats for it's many and varied animals. You can delight watching chimps and gorillas play in their huge indoor outdoor home. Or you can go on an African journey, and explore a living african ecosystem, but be careful not to stumble on the 10,000 Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Shedd Aquarium
The world's largest indoor aquarium with exhibits featuring, the Amazon rainforest, Wild Reef and a Philippine coral reef environment. And as expected many sharks.The Animal Encounters exhibit allows you to go one on one with a range of scaries, like snakes, tarantulas and frogs, just to mention a few.
