House of Blues

The Velvet Lounge

Pops for Champagne

Double Door

Excalibar

Funky Buddha Lounge
Just as the name suggests, trendy and cool, this club is popular with the young set and the music is very loud. 728 W Grand Avenue, River West (312 666 1695)
Zanies
Chicago's oldest comedy club, stand up acts here have gone on to bigger and better things, there are usually three acts on a night. 1548 N Wells Street, Old Town (312 337 4027)
The Second City
